E-mail Forwarding in Shared Website Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, that comes with all our shared website hosting packages, will let you forward any email in the account to a different one with ease. You can do this either during the creation of a brand new mailbox or any time afterwards if you choose that you require this function. During the process, you will be able to choose if you prefer a duplicate of the emails to be kept on the server. In this way, you'll have a backup and you will avoid the probability to lose an e-mail message if the forwarding is to an external address, that's momentarily unavailable. This feature can be activated and deactivated whenever you want, and when you use e-mail for critical matters, it is better to use it, because no data of the email messages are kept on the server if the option is not enabled. If you determine that you do not need forwarding anymore, it will take a click to disable it.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
For people with a semi-dedicated server from us, you will need only a couple of mouse clicks inside the Email Manager area of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the emails configured on our server to a third-party address. In the same area you will additionally be able to observe how many of your email addresses are forwarded and where the incoming messages are going. It is possible to activate or deactivate a forwarding account at any time and throughout the process you may also choose if a copy of the email messages needs to be maintained in our system or not. Although this option is not a must have, it's very valuable as you will have a copy of the messages on our end just in case that something happens with the third-party mailbox. Even when they've got only a short-term issue, you risk losing email messages as when our server receives and forwards an e-mail message, nothing at all will be stored on our end unless you chosen a copy to be stored.
